Ireland Job Seeker Visa

A 12-month visa allowing highly qualified graduates and professionals to seek employment in Ireland.

12 MonthsHighly Skilled OnlyNon-EEA Nationals

Overview

Ireland does not have a standalone job seeker visa in the traditional sense, but non-EEA nationals with relevant qualifications can apply for a 12-month 'Stamp 1G' permission (graduate permission) or enter on a long-term employment permit after securing a job. Highly qualified job seekers may also enter under the Critical Skills stream. The demand for tech, healthcare, and financial services workers is strong.

Graduate Stamp 1G: 12–24 months for recent Irish graduates
Critical Skills Employment Permit for in-demand occupations
General Employment Permit for most other occupations
No restriction on changing employers under Critical Skills after 2 years
Pathway to Stamp 4 (indefinite leave) after 5 years
Ireland remains in the EU – gateway to European market
