The Subclass 191 is a permanent visa for holders of the Subclass 491 or 494 who have spent at least 3 years living and working in a designated regional area and have met income threshold requirements. It converts provisional regional status to permanent residence.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Current holder of Subclass 491 or Subclass 494 visa
  • Lived in a designated regional area for at least 3 years
  • Worked full-time in regional Australia during that period
  • Earned at least the minimum income threshold in each year
  • Continue to meet health and character requirements
  • Hold your provisional visa at the time of application
