Overview
The Germany Job Seeker Visa (§ 20 AufenthG) allows skilled professionals with a German-recognised or equivalent qualification to come to Germany for up to 6 months to find employment. The visa cannot be extended for job seeking purposes, but once employment is found, it can be converted into a work/residence permit.

Eligibility Requirements
- ✓University degree or state-recognised vocational qualification
- ✓At least 5 years of work experience in your field
- ✓Recognised or recognisable German-equivalent qualification
- ✓Sufficient funds: minimum ~€5,000–€7,000 for the 6-month stay
- ✓Valid health insurance for the duration
- ✓German language skills (B1–B2 strongly recommended)
