Overview
The Tier 1 category (now partly replaced by the Global Talent route and Innovator Founder visa) includes visas for exceptionally talented individuals, investors, and entrepreneurs. The Global Talent visa is for recognised leaders in academia, research, arts, culture, or digital technology. The Innovator Founder visa is for experienced business people with a viable, innovative business idea.

Eligibility Requirements
- ✓Global Talent: endorsement from a UK-designated body (Tech Nation, UKRI, etc.)
- ✓Evidence of exceptional talent or exceptional promise
- ✓Innovator Founder: innovative, viable, and scalable business concept
- ✓Business assessed and approved by an approved endorsing body
- ✓Investor: minimum £2 million investment and UK bank account
- ✓Meet health surcharge and financial requirements
